At 18 months you are getting more and more like a kid and not a baby. You say a lot of words like daddy, doggie, cheese, eat, water, rhino, dino, me, hi, bye, mickey, paw patrol, tick tock, snack, i do, and more.
You still sleep average 6-6 and 9-11 for nap. You live for animals and would give anything for a cat. You like cheese, yogurt, eggs, and milk the best.
You dressed up as a monkey for Halloween. We went to AFIT trick or treating and you did great holding out your bucket for candy. The next day we had friends over for a spooky playdate. At night we went our the neighborhood. It was late for you but you were a trooper. A lollipop perked you right up when you had enough.
We get our moneys worth from our annual pass to Boonshoft. This month we went with Collin and again with school friends. You go nuts for the turtle. But also have a spot spot for the grocery store. The animals rank high too.
We had a fun family day to Run around fun time. It was a blast and I see many more visits in our future. You went crazy over a bounce house filled with balls. You liked the lemonade stand quite a bit too. And who could forget the stuffed cat you carried everywhere.
We had a playdate with a friend of RJ's from school Cayden. He was so great with you spinning you and playing chase. You love getting a chance to play with the big kids at the park. He has a little brother too, but he still has some growing up to do before he can keep up with your speed.
As you can see we spend a lot of time at playgrounds and you are a daredevil on the slides. This is the park close to our house. You and your brother played race on the slides but you didn't know you were playing a game.
We were so lucky to have Auntie Sam come visit us. You took to her right away and were jumping all over her, which amazed me because you usually take time to warm up. We took her to Steak and Shake, elephants, apple picking, apple festival with a hay ride, and a lot of playing around the house. You loved sitting on her lap and climbing on her.
We went to a great birthday party full of fun games, a magic show, balloon animals, face painting, and cupcakes too. Your fav part was throwing bean bags into cans to knock them over. The snacks like popcorn and cheese weren't bad either.
We found a new park with a giant slide. You are always willing to try what the big kids are doing. You go zooming down. After we got ice cream at Friendlys and even a stop for dog food or to see the kittyyyyyyy as you would say.
You say a few words to include Hi, Daddy, RJ, Bye, and maybe Fenway. You are happy most of the time. You take 1-2 naps depending on the day ranging from 1.5-3 total hours of naps. You sleep 6PM to 6:30AM most nights. You have 12 teeth that you are working on. You love to run and climb and keep us on our toes by doing things like standing on the coffee table. Your favorite foods include yogurt, bananas, pouches, and mac and cheese.
You were 32 inches and 24.9 pounds, which is 76% and 55% at your doctor visit yesterday.
I took you to the Cincinnati zoo for dollar day and while it was super crowded you didn't mind. You loved the elephants, polar bears, and petting zoo goats the best. It was fun to see your level of interest grow with each zoo trip we take and let's face it we go to a lot of zoos.
We love going to Young's to see the animals and play in the play area, which includes slides for you. You go nuts when you get close to the animals screaming high pitched things while also screaming hi hi hi at the same time.
